About

Lorelei began her journey as a professional artist at the age of 14, when she completed her first pet portrait commission thanks to her biology teacher, Ms. Sinor. By age 15, her art was attracting statewide recognition, winning numerous awards including 1st place in both the Fort Worth and San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo art contests, and had been exhibited in galleries across Texas including the prestigious Briscoe Western Art Museum. She also received national and international recognition in Miami, the UK, and Turkey, as well as having her artwork featured in multiple art books and magazines.

Lorelei loves drawing living things, especially animals, and capturing the beauty and vibrancy of the world around her. Although she works with multiple mediums, she specializes in layered colored pencils and vibrant watercolor. For Lorelei, art is more than just putting pencil to paper or brush to canvas. She's passionate about the stories her art can tell, the emotions it can evoke, and the conversations it can start. Through her work, she strives to create pieces that inspire viewers to connect to nature and community.
